Scholarships for Veterans


 

Summer is a great time to learn and grow. The VA Scholarship Program for Summer at Brentwood is available to the children, stepchildren, and grandchildren of all Veterans with discharge in alignment with VA requirements. VA prioritizes scholarship decisions based on the following criteria:

  1. First Time Applicants currently in VA Homeless Programs
  2. Return Applicants currently in VA Homeless Programs
  3. Veterans actively enrolled in and receiving care at GLA Healthcare System, including employees who are Veterans
  4. All other Veterans

"On-time" applications are those submitted from February 14 to March 10, 2025.

Applicants will receive award notification via email on March 17 and will have until April 7, 2025 to claim their award and register.  After that, unclaimed scholarships will be released to waitlist applicants.

"Waitlist" applications are those submitted after March 10, 2025.

As of April 8, spaces will be released on a weekly basis to VA Scholarship applicants on the waitlist until all scholarship weeks are claimed.

IMPORTANT: Please do not complete an enrollment form in Summer at Brentwood before receiving your VA Scholarship award decision. Summer at Brentwood registrations completed in advance of the VA Scholarship award notification require payment in full.
