Registration

Camp payment is based on a weekly charge; we do not prorate if days are missed. There are no refunds for camper absences or changes in plans. Legitimate medical excuses will be considered on a case-by-case basis

Classes without sufficient enrollment are subject to cancellation and a full refund. Should you choose to cancel your registration, you will receive a full refund until May 31, less the application fee of $35. From June 1 until the first day of class, you may cancel and will receive a 50% refund, less the application fee of $35. After the class has started, there are no refunds. Email summer@bwscampus.com to complete the process.

June 17 - August 2, 2024

All programs and courses are on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to availability and age requirements. Check the individual pages for more information on start dates for specific programs. When classes reach capacity, a waitlist is automatically generated.

Upper School classes meet from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. 

Sports, Kindergarten, Lower School, and Middle School Programs are 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Yes, Summer at Brentwood's Extended Care program allows families to pick up their children between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. daily. Extended Care offers supervised, unstructured time for relaxation with friends. Registration is required in advance, for full weeks. The fee is $65 per week ($55 for the four-day holiday week in July).

If space is available, students may switch to another camp during their first day.

When a program reaches full capacity, we automatically start a waitlist through the registration website. If we receive a cancellation, we will notify waitlisted participants of availability. 

Campers must register using our online system. All mandatory forms (medical, waiver/liability) must be submitted prior to payment. Payment is due in-full at the time of registration, paid by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, or American Express) only.

If a student is absent more than two days from a yearlong credit course, regardless of the circumstances, s/he will be automatically un-enrolled from the course and a "Withdraw" will be noted on the transcripts. For a semester-long class, students may not be absent more than one day, with the same consequences. See below for information from the Brentwood School Upper School Family Handbook.

"Summer Session: Students have until the end of the second day of the Summer Session to drop a class without penalty. After the end of the second day, Brentwood School records a “Withdraw” on school transcripts when students drop their [yearlong] credit courses. In all cases, if students drop courses, tuition for the Summer Session is non-refundable."

Brentwood School's COVID-19 protocols align with guidance issued by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health.

• Isolation – Individuals who test positive for COVID-19 should isolate (stay home) for 5 days and may leave isolation after day 5, as long as they have been fever-free for 24 hours (without the use of fever-reducing medicines) and they either have no symptoms or their symptoms are mild and improving. A negative COVID-19 test is strongly recommended but no longer required for the person to leave isolation between days 6-10.  

• People infected with COVID-19 should wear a well-fitting mask around others for a total of 10 days. They may discontinue wearing a mask around others between days 6-10 if they have two negative tests taken on consecutive days (at least one day apart).

• Close contacts – It is strongly recommended, but not required, that anyone who is a close contact of a person with a confirmed case of COVID-19 wear a well-fitting mask around others for a total of 10 days, especially in indoor settings or when near those who are at high risk for severe illness. Close contacts are encouraged to test as soon as possible to determine infection status and then, if negative, to test again within 3-5 days after the last known exposure.

• Vaccination – Brentwood School, along with the county and state health departments, continues to strongly recommend the vaccine for all members of our community, both to reduce COVID-related disruptions and to protect those in our community who remain at high risk for serious illness. In consideration of the end of the national COVID-19 emergency declaration and changes to the California Department of Public Health’s COVID protocols, Brentwood School has lifted its vaccine requirement for students and employees.
