- July 1 - 5 (no classes July 4)
- July 8 - 12: Specialty Camps
- July 15 - 26: Eagles Launchpad (Middle School Skills Prep)
Guided by Brentwood School's Core Values, this two-week program lays the foundation for Middle Schoolers to develop academic and interpersonal skills to ease the transition into and continuation of Middle School. Selecting from a variety of elective offerings, Eagles Launchpad students will also learn study skills and course-specific strategies in English and math. In English class, students can expect to improve reading comprehension; develop critical thinking skills; learn how to annotate, organize, and take notes; and brush up on grammar and linguistic skills appropriate for each grade level. Seeing problems from different angles, reasoning and justifying methods, and attending to precision, math classes vary, offering instruction in 6th grade math, pre-algebra, and algebra, and focus on number sense, logic, and problem solving. To round out the Eagles Launchpad experience, students choose two electives to complement their English and math classes.
