Students will learn how to communicate effectively in a variety of formats. For example, they will learn about a speech to inform vs. a speech to persuade; the importance of listening attentively, speaking clearly, and thinking critically; and techniques for research and writing that lead to clear, effective speeches.
Afternoon Add-On Option — 12:30-2:30 p.m.
Students have the option to transition into The Showcase, to enrich the content from classes and apply their skills. This program has an additional fee and includes lunch.
