This biology course explores how structure and function are linked across levels of organization, from molecules to ecosystems. Students investigate core concepts such as energy flow, inheritance, and evolution through evidence-based reasoning and experimentation, with an emphasis on evolutionary thinking to explain patterns, processes, and diversity in living systems. The curriculum is delivered across two locations: the first four weeks of the course are held in Brentwood, followed by the final two weeks taught in Copenhagen to provide a global context to biological research.
