Battle Robots is a hands-on engineering experience where students design, build, and battle small-scale combat robots. Students learn the fundamentals of mechanical design, electronics, and fabrication while working in teams to create a competitive robot from concept to competition. Throughout the week, students develop skills in problem-solving, safe tool use, and iterative testing as they refine their designs for performance and reliability. The camp culminates in a structured combat tournament where students put their robots to the test and reflect on the engineering decisions behind their designs. No prior robotics experience is required, just curiosity and a willingness to build, test, and improve.
Please note: this class includes a $50 materials fee.
