This course begins with reviewing the real number system and its properties, writing, evaluating, and simplifying expressions, and solving linear equations in one variable. It continues with the study of polynomials, the Quadratic Formula, the Cartesian coordinate system of two equations in two unknowns, exponents and radicals, factoring, word problems of various types, linear inequalities in one variable, and systems of linear inequalities in two variables.
