Boys’ Lacrosse Grades 5-8: June 27 – July 1
Co-ed Lacrosse Grades 1-4: July 18-22
Campers will have the opportunity to join on e of two groups, beginners and advanced. Beginners will start the sport from scratch, learning the fundamental skills that will make them thrive in the sport (throwing, catching, groundballing, shooting.) Emphasis will be on sound fundamentals and joy in sport. Equipment can be rented for new players for the duration of the camp, though ownership of their own stick will help them grow.
Advanced players will learn tactical aspects of lacrosse and more advanced skill sets. This is designed for players who have the basics down, but need to develop skills such as running team offense and defense, dodging, sliding, and shooting on the run.
All players can expect a positive, upbeat, engaging and rewarding camp experience. Exceptional players may also be invited to try out for area travel teams, which will enhance their experience in the sport.
